Noah Evans: Chasing Championships and Carrying Family Tradition Forward

Noah Evans is turning family tradition into championships as he continues climbing the North Carolina short track racing ladder.

At just a few years into his racing career, Noah Evans is already building a résumé that many drivers spend decades chasing. Hailing from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, the young Charger division racer has quickly become one of the standout names at Wake County Speedway, combining raw speed, consistency, and a deep-rooted passion for short track racing.

For Noah, racing has always been more than just a hobby. It’s family tradition.

His father and grandfather both raced at the same track he now calls home, creating a connection to Wake County Speedway that runs far deeper than trophies or championships. Add in a childhood obsession with Disney Pixar’s Cars and Lightning McQueen, and it’s easy to see how the racing bug took hold early.

About five years after getting started in motorsports, Noah is already making history.

One of his proudest accomplishments came during the 2025 season when he captured the ARL Bull Bash Outlaw Bandolero Championship at Wake County Speedway. The title battle came down to the wire, with Noah ending the season tied for points before ultimately securing the championship through a tiebreaker based on wins.

If that wasn’t enough, he also claimed the 2025 Wake County Speedway regular season championship, putting together a dominant season that included the most wins in the division and the most combined Bandolero victories in track history at the facility.

Now making the move into Chargers, Noah is continuing to climb the ladder while carrying momentum from his Bandolero success.

Behind the wheel, he pilots a 2010 TORP Late Model built to Charger specifications at Wake County Speedway. The car already had a winning pedigree before Noah ever climbed into the seat, having collected victories at tracks like Ace Speedway, Myrtle Beach, Southern National Motorsports Park, and Caraway Speedway. Noah and his team are now adding their own chapter to the car’s legacy.

That effort is powered by a close-knit team built around family and trusted supporters. 1128 Investments serves as the backbone of the operation, with team owner Tony Toro, crew chief Brian Oldham, crew members Mike Evans, Jordan Matthews, and Mitchell Crolle, along with spotter Bryson Brinkley, all helping Noah compete at a high level every Friday night. Their dedication behind the scenes plays a major role in the success of the No. 22 team every time it hits the track.

Sponsors including 1128 Investments, Bore Performance, Southpoint Honda, and CRH Homes continue to support the team as Noah expands his schedule and looks toward bigger opportunities.

While Wake County Speedway remains his home track, Noah has plans to race at Orange County Speedway, Southern National Motorsports Park, Ace Speedway, Carteret Speedway, and Caraway Speedway as he gains more experience in the Charger ranks.

Like many young racers, Noah draws inspiration from some of NASCAR’s biggest names, including Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. But some of his biggest influences remain closer to home — his dad and grandpa, the very people who helped spark his love for racing in the first place.

What stands out most about Noah is how much he values the community side of local racing.

To him, the magic of short track racing isn’t just about winning races. It’s about the atmosphere under the lights on Friday night, the fans in the stands, and the ability to connect with people through racing and interviews.

Looking ahead, Noah’s goals are ambitious but clear: win a Late Model championship and eventually compete in the CARS Tour.

Given everything he’s already accomplished in a short amount of time, it’s safe to say he’s well on his way.

Noah’s message to fans is simple:

“Jesus loves you!”
